# Privacy Policy

TrueKnow analyzes photos and videos you submit to help you judge whether they look real or AI-generated. Media is analyzed to produce a result. We do not keep a photo library, and TrueKnow is not a social network.

## What we receive

When you upload a file or paste a link, here is what happens:

- Your file (or a download from the link) is sent to our server for analysis. It may be passed to third-party AI analysis services solely to perform the detection. We do not name those services publicly. Email lee@lionheartsearch.com if you need the current processor list.
- A thumbnail and the analysis result are stored in our database so we can show you the result again and, when you choose to share it, so a public result page can load. We may use labeled results to improve detection accuracy over time.
- If you join the iPhone waitlist, we store the email address you provide so we can email you once when that app is in the App Store.
- If you paste a URL, we fetch that page or file in order to analyze it. We may also run a reverse image search on the bytes we already have, to report where the same content appears online.
- We do not sell your content or share it with third parties for any purpose other than performing the analysis described above.

## What we do not collect

We do not use cookies for tracking and we do not collect personally identifiable information beyond what you voluntarily provide (such as a name or a session identifier).

Do not upload images or videos containing sensitive personal information, private individuals without consent, or content you do not have the right to share.

## How long we keep it

The original upload is deleted from temporary processing as soon as analysis finishes. We keep the Analysis ID, a SHA-256 of the file, the verdict, and a thumbnail for 90 days so you can review, share, or export the result. After 90 days the public result is removed. We do not build a browsable library of your photos.

Business API submissions follow the same 90-day retention as uploads from the website. Business API access is by request. Email lee@lionheartsearch.com.

To delete a specific result sooner, use Request deletion on the result screen or email lee@lionheartsearch.com with the Analysis ID (for example TK-20260819-A3K9P).
